Managing Global Configs in Acanthis

What are Global Configs?

Global Configs are organisation-wide settings that apply across all months.
They govern the structural setup of your dashboard calculations and enable optional features depending on your Industry and Subscription.

Global Configs are typically set once during onboarding, but you can update them if your business needs change over time.

Key examples of Global Config settings:

  • Setting the Fiscal Year Start Date

  • Default annualisation methods for calculating Business ValuTrack

  • Enabling optional Net Promoter Score Emails

It is recommended to consult with your accountant or business advisor if adjusting global financial.


When Should You Update Global Configs?

  • During initial Acanthis setup

  • When refining Business ValuTrack annullsation methods for more accuracy for example it might be better to change the annualisation method at the beginning of a financial year to 12 month rolling as it may be more accurate that annualising the current year.


How to Configure Global Configs

  1. Navigate to Settings:
    From your Acanthis dashboard, go to Settings in the left-hand navigation menu.

  2. Select Organisation Configs:
    Under Settings, click Organisation Configs.

  3. Choose Global Configs:
    Select Global Configs.

  4. Update Global Settings:
    Adjust settings as necessary.

  5. Save Your Changes:
    Click Save to apply organisation-wide changes.

  6. Publish Changes
